Our Client is seeking to recruit a Business Development Supervisor who will be responsible for supporting field sales operations, driving market penetration, overseeing branch market activities, and strengthening route-to-market execution. The role focuses on supervising field teams, managing stockist relationships, analyzing market trends, and ensuring optimal product performance across assigned territories.

Job Description

 Field Sales Team Support

  • Supervise & support field sales representatives to achieve sales targets
  • Conduct regular field visits to monitor performance and provide coaching where necessary.
  • Ensure proper execution of sales strategies and promotional activities in the market.
  • Assist in setting team targets and tracking performance metrics.

Farm Outreach & Market Engagement

  • Coordinate and support farm outreach activities and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, distributors, stockists, and key    stakeholders.
  • Organize market activations, and awareness campaigns to increase product visibility.

Monitoring, Reporting & Analytics

  • Prepare regular sales and performance reports for management review.
  • Monitor team productivity, sales trends, and market coverage.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities to provide actionable insights.
  • Track KPIs and recommend improvement initiatives.

Branch Market Activities

  • Coordinate branch-level marketing and sales activities
  • Ensure teams effectively execute promotional campaigns and market development initiatives.
  • Lead in identifying new business opportunities and customer segments.

Stockist Management

  • Manage relationships with stockists and distributors within assigned regions.
  • Monitor stock availability and distribution efficiency.
  • Ensure proper product visibility and market penetration through stockists.
  • Resolve issues affecting stock movement and customer satisfaction.

Route-to-Market Support

  • Review and evaluate route-to-market effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Identify non-viable routes and recommend corrective actions or restructuring.
  • Support the development and implementation of improved distribution strategies

Job Requirements

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, Business Administration, Sales, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years in sales management, preferably in the agricultural or agribusiness sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing business growth strategies.
