Responsibilities:
Opportunity Pipeline Management:
- Own and manage the organization's business opportunity pipeline
- Track and progress opportunities from identification through closure
- Ensure opportunities do not stall due to poor follow-up or lack of execution
- Maintain visibility over all active opportunities.
Client Acquisition & Revenue Growth:
- Develop and execute client acquisition strategies
- Secure new business opportunities
- Expand the company’s client base and revenue streams.
- Proposal Development & Commercial Conversion
- Lead the development of business proposals, Capability statements, Presentations, Expressions of interest and Client solutions
- Coordinate proposal processes and ensure timely submission
- Convert opportunities into signed engagements and commercial outcomes
Strategic Business Engagement:
- Build relationships with corporate decision-makers and prospective clients
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and opportunity discussions
- Position the company’s services effectively within target markets.
Opportunity Execution:
- Coordinate internal teams required to support opportunity development
- Ensure commitments made to prospective clients are delivered
- Drive responsiveness and accountability throughout the sales process
Market Development:
- Identify emerging commercial opportunities
- Monitor market trends and client needs
- Generate actionable insights that support growth initiatives.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in business development, client acquisition, corporate sales, consulting, professional services, learning & development, or related fields
- Demonstrated track record of generating and converting business opportunities
- Experience managing complex sales cycles and corporate engagements
- Strong proposal-writing and presentation skills.
