Our client, a prestigious retirement and lifestyle estate in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, is looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused professional to join their team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping a growing community while working closely with homeowners, contractors, architects and developers.
Duties
• Overseeing residential building projects from commencement through to completion
• Conducting site inspections and ensuring compliance with estate regulations and approved plans
• Coordinating Architectural Review Committee submissions and meetings
• Managing building deposits, plan fees, refunds and related administration
• Maintaining accurate building and property records
• Liaising with homeowners, contractors, architects and engineers
• Monitoring contractor compliance and construction standards
• Assisting with estate compliance, environmental and stormwater requirements
• Participating in the estate's standby roster approximately one weekend every four weeks
Requirements:
• Qualification in Architecture, Building Science, Civil Engineering, Construction, Property Management or a related field advantageous
• Ability to read and interpret building plans and drawings
• Strong administrative and organisational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office systems
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently and confidently manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Valid driver's licence and own transport
