Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced Bid & Tendering Specialist who will be responsible for identifying tender opportunities, coordinating the preparation and submission of technical and commercial bids, ensuring compliance with client requirements, and improving the company's bid success rate within the Oil & Gas sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and monitor tender opportunities from NipeX, NNPC, NOGIC, EPC contractors, and other procurement platforms.
  • Review Invitation to Tender ITT, RFQs, RFPs, and bid documents to determine submission requirements.
  • Coordinate the preparation, compilation, and submission of technical and commercial proposals.
  • Ensure all bid submissions comply with client specifications, company policies, and submission deadlines.
  • Liaise with Procurement, Technical, Finance, and Business Development teams to gather required bid documentation.
  • Prepare bid schedules, compliance matrices, and tender checklists.
  • Coordinate bid clarification meetings and respond to client queries where required
  • Maintain an organized database of bids, tenders, and proposal documents.
  • Track bid outcomes and prepare reports on win/loss ratios and lessons learned.
  • Monitor vendor registrations, prequalification opportunities, and tender portals.
  • Support the continuous improvement of bid processes and documentation.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in bid management or tender coordination within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas tendering processes, procurement regulations, and commercial documentation.
  • Experience working with NipeX, NNPC, IOCs, or major EPC contractors is highly desirable.
  • Excellent proposal writing and documentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
