We are seeking to recruit an experienced male Audit Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should have at least 8 years’ experience in a practising firm and demonstrate strong leadership, audit expertise, and client management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to finalisation.
- Review audit plans, risk assessments, and working papers for quality and compliance.
- Ensure timely completion of audit deliverables in line with engagement schedules.
- Supervise and mentor audit staff, ensuring proper task allocation and performance.
- Prepare and/or review audit reports, management letters, and audit findings.
- Liaise with clients and manage client relationships professionally.
- Ensure adherence to relevant auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to business development activities proposals, client engagements, and proposal support.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a practising chartered accounting firm.
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Proven ability to lead audit teams and deliver high-quality audit outcomes.
- Excellent report-writing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Must be an active member of ICAN.
- Proficiency in using accounting/audit tools and Microsoft Office especially Excel.
