Assistant Accountant

Main Responsibilities

• Posting daily financial transactions, bills and payments into accounting software
• Tracking and reviewing of Invoices and process payments for vendors bills
• Update general financial records
• Support routine reconciliation of accounts
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Undertake periodic verification of assets to enhance assets accounting
• Statutory Accounts Reporting-PAYE, NAPSA
• Ensure that accounting reports are accurate and reported on time
• Perform any other duties assigned by superiors

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma/Degree in relevant accountancy study program (e.g. ZICA, CIMA, ACCA)
• Must be a member of ZICA
• Grade 12 Certificate
• At least two years post-qualification experience
• Experience in the transport industry, an added advantage
