GERSROD Mining Engineering Services Ltd is currently recruiting for anode quality inspector jobs in Mufulira. We seek four dedicated and qualified Anode Quality Inspectors to join our team at the Mopani Smelter, located in Mufulira, Copperbelt, Zambia. This full-time opportunity offers candidates the chance to contribute to maintaining the highest standards in anode production within a dynamic mining environment.

As an Anode Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring that anodes meet stringent quality standards. Your expertise will be vital in identifying defects, recommending corrective measures, and supporting operational safety and efficiency. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills who can work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities or duties

• Conduct thorough inspections of anodes to verify compliance with established quality standards.
• Detect and document defects, providing actionable recommendations for corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inspection records and detailed reports.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures throughout the inspection process.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

• Possession of a valid Silicosis Certificate is mandatory.
• Minimum qualification of a Diploma in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering.
• Exceptional attention to detail to identify subtle quality issues.
• Effective reporting and communication abilities to clearly convey inspection findings.
• Capability to work autonomously while also integrating well within a team setting.

Experience needed

• Previous experience in anode inspection or a related industrial environment will be considered an advantage.
