Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years' accounting experience, preferably within a legal or professional services environment.
• Essential: Proven experience using Legal Suite accounting software.
• Experience managing both Trust and Business Accounts.
• Experience processing high volumes of invoices (approximately 1,800 invoices per month).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and trust accounting regulations.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Manage the firm's Trust and Business Accounts in accordance with relevant legislation and accounting standards.
• Process and oversee the monthly billing cycle, ensuring the accurate generation and distribution of approximately 1,800 invoices.
• Reconcile trust and business bank accounts.
• Monitor trust account transactions and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Process receipts, payments, journals, and account transfers.
• Prepare monthly financial reconciliations and reports.
• Investigate and resolve account discrepancies and billing queries.
• Ensure all financial records are accurate, complete, and maintained in accordance with company policies.
• Liaise with attorneys, clients, and third parties regarding account-related matters.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes.
• Support external auditors and provide documentation as required.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiencies.
• Perform any other accounting and finance-related duties as required.
