Accessories Graphic Designer & Trend Specialist – Poetry Brand

Poetry is looking for a talented and trend-savvy Graphic Designer to join our creative team, with a dedicated focus on accessories, bags, and footwear. If you have a refined eye for pattern, packaging design and material finishes — and a passion for crafting beautiful, considered product — this could be your perfect role.

About the Role

As our Accessories, Bags & Footwear Graphic Designer & Trend Specialist, you’ll bring elevated, thoughtful design to life across patterns, packaging, and colour treatments. You will play a key role in shaping the visual identity of our accessories offering, ensuring each piece feels distinctive, cohesive, and aligned to Poetry’s brand DNA.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop original prints, patterns, and graphics for accessories, bags, and footwear.
• Apply design across a variety of materials and techniques, including embroidery, placement print, repeats, embossing, and trims.
• Research and forecast relevant fashion trends and adapt them for Poetry’s market.
• Collaborate closely with buyers to ensure design feasibility and execution.
• Ensure all designs align with Poetry’s aesthetic and maintain a cohesive seasonal narrative.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design, Surface Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in surface design for accessories, footwear, or fashion (accessories and footwear retail experience an advantage).
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop essential).
• Strong portfolio showcasing print, pattern, and surface development across product categories.
• Solid understanding of repeat design, placement artwork, and production-ready file preparation.
• Ability to work at pace and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A genuine passion for accessories related design and attention to detail.
• Strong appreciation for Poetry’s brand values and visual identity.
